Ethereum Foundation has officially (and finally) announced Devcon 5 will take place in Osaka, Japan on Oct 8-11th this year! Japanese community was super stoked about it last week.

Avex, Japan’s music and entertainment conglomerate has established a subsidiary Avex Technologies to adopt cloud and blockchain technologies in the entertainment field - Link(JP)
GMO Internet Group has published their recent financial statement, which revealed the revenue from its crypto related businesses drop since the last term - Link
GMO is a listed internet conglomerate, with the businesses from Japan’s largest domain registrars to an online stock trading platform.
GLOBIS University has announced to provide blockchain based graduation certificates from this July - Link(JP)
This is the first experiment for a Japanese school to provide digital certificates.
